‘ Cubashe’ are an experienced Brighton & Hove based dance company of 7 years, specialising in salsa and other Latin dances, as well as Afro-Cuban dance and percussion.

We currently teach workshops in several Primary Schools in the East Sussex and Greater London area, and have devised an extensive programme that can be tailor-made to emphasise particular aspects of the curriculum eg other cultures and countries.

Through our workshops we aim to teach the importance of learning about different cultures. We believe dance is an excellent medium by which to encourage children to accept other cultures and to work as part of a group.
Dance also teaches hand/eye coordination, and encourages children to understand and follow oral direction.

We give special focus to music appreciation, rhythm, and confidence building through routines, games and storytelling.

Our workshops are structured and well supervised by our instructors who are UKA accredited and insured and police checked.
